	Six local artists among those to receive grants from IAC Six Local Artists among Those to Receive Grants from IAC The Indiana Arts Commission announced today that six regional artists are among 39 artists throughout the state receiving career development assistance through the agency's Individual Artist Program grants for Fiscal Year 2012. This year's recipients from the Bloomington area are: Petar Jankovic, music Monika Herzig, music Janiece Jaffe, music Craig Brenner, music R. The Bloomington Animal Shelter has made it into the Top 50 in the ASPCA's 100K Challenge. Bloomington came in first in the North Central division and second in the nation overall with 31,912 votes. The shelter will now have a chance to compete for $100,000.
