June 16, 2011 -- RelocateAmerica has published its “TOP 100 Places to Live” report in its 14th annual listing of the top communities in America. Bloomington is in the overall Top 100 and is in the final running to be recognized as a Top 10 overall community.
“We are looking for a strong show of support among local residents, community and business leaders as the Top 10 breakout category winners are now determined through a special nomination process,” said Steve Nickerson, President of RelocateAmerica. “Community pride is a good indicator of great leadership and a mark of a great place to live, work and play.”
The voting for the Top 10 breakout list is new for this year’s list. It's part of a yearlong initiative to give the local residents and leaders direct input about how their town rates in various breakout categories. Released throughout the upcoming year will be six different breakout categories that range from the top areas for education to the top areas for recreation and several other categories of interest to consumers.
The first Top 10 breakout list will be determined by input gathered on the website starting on June 15th and running to July 31, 2011. The results of the first break out lists will be released on August 2, 2012. Visit http://top100.relocateamerica.com to vote.
