Bloomington City Hall Atrium features a new art exhibit every month.

Exhibits:

The John Waldron Arts Center (122 S. Walnut): For a quality display of arts and crafts by local and regional artists, check out the Waldron Arts Center.

IU Art Museum (1133 E. 7th Street): IU's acclaimed art collection showcases art from all angles.

Sofa Gallery (1201 E. 7th Street): IU's contemporary art center Sofa features the work of IU students, local and regional artists.

Wandering Turtle (116 W. 6th Street): Wandering Turtle supports local, regional and international artists through their diverse and natural works.

Activities:

First Friday of the Month Gallery Walk (Downtown Bloomington): Check out Bloomington's nine participating art galleries on the first Friday of every even month.  The walk includes a wealth of artwork in each gallery ranging from sophisticated to funky!

Public Art Tour: Explore Bloomington for sculptures on the B-Line Trail, creations in the parks, and even talented graffiti on electrical boxes!

B-Town Beads (214 N. Rogers): Create a masterpiece at B-Town Beads.  They specialize in private and group classes for beadwork and metalsmithing.

Aesthetically-pleasing Restaurants:

The Runcible Spoon (412 E. 6th Street): Named after the children's fairy tale, the Runcible Spoon incorporates images from the story into its decor, crafting an atmosphere full of love, nature, adventure and whimsy.  Be sure explore all areas of the restaurant for surprising features!

Cafe Django (116 N. Grant): An Asian Fusion restaurant modeled after the gypsy lifestyle of guitarist Django Reinhardt with plenty of eye-catching decor.
